Identify the original equipment
Look for the reference on the equipment’s label, instructions or invoice. Note the brand, collection and any available version details. For a package, distinguish the reference of the complete set from that of the part you need.
The same appearance may cover several generations of mechanisms. Do not treat the catalogue photo as proof of compatibility; use it to guide the search before a technical check.
Photograph and measure the part’s distinguishing features
Prepare an overall view of the equipment, a photo of the markings and clear views of accessible connections. Add relevant dimensions, fixing centres or diameters where these can be measured without risky dismantling.
Describe the need: replacing a worn part, adding an accessory or adapting to a new configuration. Have dismantling and technical checks carried out by a qualified professional.
Confirm the match before dispatch
Send the information along with the reference you found on EDIFIS SUD. Request confirmation that it matches and of what is included: seals, fixings or adaptors may be offered separately.
Specify the quantity and delivery town, and distinguish the supply lead time from transport time. On receipt, compare the reference received with the one confirmed before installation. Keep useful documents and markings for future enquiries.
Continue planning
Keep your measurements and reference list with the technical drawings. Send them with your delivery town to prepare a precise enquiry.
