Separate concealed components from visible parts
A trim set and its concealed body may be sold separately. Note the full references of every planned component and have their compatibility confirmed. The collection name, handle shape or brand is not enough to identify the body required.
For renovation work, photograph the label or markings on the existing equipment. Do not order a new trim set solely because it looks like the old one.
List the functions of each control
Specify the outlets you want: shower head, hand shower, bath spout or another function. State which need to operate together. The professional must compare this request with the capabilities of the selected references and the installation’s specifications.
Have the installation depth, finished wall thickness and required access checked. Limits vary by model: use the exact instructions rather than measurements from another product in the collection.
Reserve components in the order the work requires them
Identify what must be available before the walls are closed and what can be installed after the finishes. Request availability confirmation for every reference essential to the first stage.
Then group the visible finishes in one list and separate the cost of products, installation components and transport. For a project in Sfax, Djerba or elsewhere in southern Tunisia, have supply and delivery confirmed separately.
