Calculate the area of each zone
Separate rooms, walls and floors. Measure the length and width of each area, then detail niches, returns and openings with your installer. Avoid combining different sizes or finishes into a single total.
The layout determines the cuts. Have an allowance calculated for that layout and the chosen tile size; no single percentage suits every project.
Convert surface area into boxes
Divide the area to be ordered, including the allowance, by the area stated per box. If the tiles are sold in whole boxes, round up to the next box. Check the unit of sale and box coverage for the exact reference.
Example calculation, unrelated to any catalogue reference: for an order of 23.4 m² with 1.44 m² per box, 23.4 ÷ 1.44 = 16.25 boxes. An order in whole boxes therefore requires 17 boxes, covering 24.48 m². Do not use this box coverage for another item.
Check the finish, batch and delivery
Have the intended installation area and required performance confirmed, then the finish, shade and calibre where applicable. A lifestyle photo is not enough to validate these criteria.
For delivery to southern Tunisia, provide quantities by reference and the unloading conditions. Before installation, compare the box labels with the order and report any differences. Keep the references and batch details for future enquiries.
Continue planning
Keep your measurements and reference list with the technical drawings. Send them with your delivery town to prepare a precise enquiry.
